How to download maps for the eSEEK GPS controller

Load larger satellite maps much faster from your PC

eSEEK GPS handheld are a great tool for locating and training your hunting dogs.

The eSEEK remote is designed to stay connected to the internet at all times and download maps as needed.

However, unfortunately, in many mountains, forests, and rural areas, the internet connection is nonexistent, weak, or very slow, which makes it difficult to view satellite maps on your eSEEK device.

For this reason, the controller includes an option to download and store maps for offline use. Ideally, it should be connected to WiFi to perform the download. The problem is that downloading satellite maps directly from the controller is limited to 10 km². The process is usually quite slow and, at times, may not complete successfully.

At GrupoAneto.com, we have developed this website to allow you to download map areas up to 10 times larger, reaching up to 100 km².

The download must be done on a computer, and then the downloaded files must be copied to the microSD memory card of your controller.

Download instructions

1. Select the area you want to download on the map at eSEEKmaps.com.
2. Click on Start download (the website will show the approximate file size of the map you are about to download).
3. Once downloaded, do not unzip the .ZIP file (note: it is essential to update the eSEEK APP to version 6.2.3 or higher on the controller).
4. Remove the microSD memory card from the controller and connect it to your PC using a USB adapter.
5. Your PC will detect a storage drive; you must paste the .ZIP file into the /cache folder (you can paste as many .ZIP files as you want in this folder).
6. Reinsert the microSD card into the controller and that's it: you must select the Offline Maps option on the icon at the bottom right.
